Galeria Orkana is a newly built shopping centre that opened for trading during August 2006. The property boasts a net lettable area of 8 045 m2 situated in the city fringe location, approximately 10 minutes from the centre of Lublin and located within a middle class / affluent yet high density residential location.
The property has attracted tenants who provide a well balanced mix, with the main emphasis as is common in such centres, relating to the fashion sector. BLM Architecki were responsible for the design of the building, which conforms to modern retailing needs and offers an efficient use of space; combined with technical and aesthetic finishes of an institutional specification.
The centre has high quality exterior and interior fit out; with the elevations clad with panels made using fedderlite technology combined with full height glazed elevations where visibility splay is the highest. The two floors are linked internally by escalators, although independent access is also available from the ground floor and lower ground floor parking areas.
